Anowarako:wa Arena
The A’nowara’ko:wa Arena is home to the Akwesasne Jr. B Wolves, Akwesasne Minor Hockey Association and the Akwesasne Skating Club during the winter; and home to the Akwesasne Sr. A Indians, Akwesasne Jr. A Indians, Jr. B Celtics and Akwesasne Minor Lacrosse during the summer. This beautiful arena is located on the St. Lawrence River in the District of Kawehnoke in the Territory of Akwesasne.
Bookings can be made by calling 613-936-1583 or by email to the Arena Supervisor, theresa.square@akwesasne.ca or the Arena Admin Assistant at mamie.david@akwesasne.ca. There are party packages available for the winter: 3 hours in the turtle room with 1.5 hours of ice (based on ice availability) for $100. Ice is priced at $135 during prime time hours and $110 during off hours.

Ontario Hockey Academy will be playing several games in the next two months; call the arena to check for times.
We are now taking floor-time requests for the upcoming Lacrosse season. Please submit your request in writing to the A’nowara’ko:wa Arena by February 26, 2010. All requests will be reviewed the first week in March and associations/teams will be notified of the approved time slots. Priority will be given to local organizations.
