UPDATE ON AKWESASNE ELECTION LAW AMENDMENT: PHASE III

Council has accepted the draft amendment to Section 16.2 of the Akwesasne Election Law in principle. The process now moves into Phase III: Community Consultation. Community sessions will be held in each district—including the Southern Portion—to gather feedback.
