DOH ANNOUNCES WALK-IN COVID-19 VACCINE CLINIC DATES
The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne’s Department of Health (DOH) is informing the community of the next COVID-19 vaccine walk-in clinic dates. Any adult Akwesasronon (age 18 years or older) are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Non-native spouses of community members residing in Akwesasne, and Akwesasronon/First Nations people residing in the City of Cornwall, are eligible to receive the vaccine.
The next dates for COVID-19 vaccine walk-in clinics are as follows:
Wednesday, April 21, 2021:
St. Regis Recreation Centre • 2:30 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Friday, April 23, 2021:
A’nowara’ko:wa Arena • 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.
Saturday, April 24, 2021:
Tsi Snaihne Recreation Centre • 12 p.m. – 3 p.m.
Community members who had vaccine appointments that had been previously booked, these appointments will still occur. Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you arrive early, please wait in your vehicle until staff inform you to enter the clinic.
