MCA REPORTS SEVEN NEW POSITIVE CASES OF COVID-19

The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne’s Community Health Program reports seven (7) new active cases of COVID-19 in the northern portion of the community, as of February 12, 2021. There are now a total of 18 active cases, and 185 total cases, and 167 resolved since the start of the pandemic. (Total cases include Tsiionkwanonhso:te active cases.)

MCA would like to remind community that we need your assistance to slow/stop the spread of COVID-19 by adhering to the public health measures that have been put in place. Please no social gatherings (stay within your own household), and wear a mask when around others. Wash and sanitize hands frequently and maintain six feet of distance from anyone outside your household. Stay home when you’re sick and isolate if you’ve been exposed to the COVID-19 virus.
