OPP TO ASSIST WITH AIR SEARCH OF MISSING PERSON
The Akwesasne Mohawk Police Service is notifying the community that on Thursday, February 15, 2018, the Ontario Provincial Police will be assisting AMPS in a search of the local waterways for missing person Donald “Do” Johnson. Community members will observe helicopters in the air, flying at low altitudes. Do not be alarmed. AMPS will be on board the helicopter(s) as well.
Donald “Do” Johnson was last seen on the afternoon of Friday, February 9, 2018, in Kana:takon (St. Regis). Donald was believed to be wearing a dark green jacket and blue jeans.
Donald is 31 years old, approximate height of 5’2” and approximately 165 lbs. He has black hair worn short and has a dark complexion. He has a paralyzed left arm.
Police are also continuing to ask for the public’s assistance in locating missing person Kenneth Leaf, age 50, who has not been seen since the weekend of January 13, 2018.
