Ononhkwaon:we Program (the original medicine)
What kind of services do you offer:
The services offered through traditional medicines are assessments and cross referrals to both western (non-native) and traditional medicine. We do cultural teachings, healing workshops and seminars, medicine walks and herbal classes. We also provide traditional ceremonies for individuals and the community. We can put on sweat lodges and we have healers and seers who will meet with you. We provide translation services for our Elders and host “elder circles” on a monthly basis. We provide other services that have traditional and cultural support and if we need to we will get someone in to come and see you who can help you.
What do I do:
All you need to do is give us a call at the number above. Sometimes we might ask you to come into the office and other times we might have to make an appointment with you.
Where do I go:
Go to St. Regis village and turn left on First Street, go up the hill, take the first left on Hill Top Drive, continue straight to the Kanonhkwatsheri:io Health Facility, parking in the front of the building, go to the main floor of the atrium area. When coming into the building our main reception staff will be able to show you where to go. Our building is located just before the CKON Radio Station.
