NOTICE OF ADVANCED POLLS FOR UPCOMING AMBE ELECTION

The Chief Electoral Officer has declared that an election will be held for one (1) seat on the Ahkwesahsne Mohawk Board of Education (AMBE) Board of Trustees. Voting will take place on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at the Ahkwesahsne Mohawk School (AMS) on Kawehno:ke.

 

Official Candidates for the District of Kawehno:ke are:

Kathleen Papineau
Rosemary (Rosie) Square

 

Advanced polling will be held on Monday, August 11 and Tuesday, August 12, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Angus Mitchell Memorial Building (15 Akwesasne Street, Kana:takon).

To vote in advance, you must book an appointment and your name must appear on the voters list. It is your responsibility to confirm your eligibility.
