OUTBREAK STATUS AT IAKHIHSOHTHA LODGE HAS BEEN LIFTED
In our ongoing effort to keep the community updated with the latest on the COVID-19 positive case reported at the Iakhihsohtha Lodge, we are informing the community that Iakhihsohtha Lodge has been removed from outbreak status, as of February 10, 2021, following two (2) weeks of negative COVID-19 results for both residents and staff members.
To be removed from outbreak status, a facility or long-term care (LTC) residence has to have completed two weeks of negative COVID-19 test results for all staff, residents, or administration members who work or reside in the building.
MCA wishes to extend its gratitude to staff, administration members who remained diligent in their duties and followed safety protocols during this time, ensuring that no other residents or staff were exposed. We would also like to extend our gratitude to the residents’ families and community members for their understanding and their positive thoughts throughout this period.
