TRADITIONAL MEDICINES MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
The MCA Department of Health’s Traditional Medicines Program is pleased to offer a unique mentorship opportunity for community members interested in learning about traditional medicine practices.
Participants will gain hands-on experience in:
🌿 Identifying medicinal plants
🌿 Harvesting in various environments
🌿 Processing plants into traditional medicines
Program Details:
- No prior experience required
- Must be comfortable walking in swamps, fields, and forests
- Must be willing to travel throughout the community and nearby areas
- Bi-weekly commitment from May to October
- Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
