UPDATE ON COVID-19 OUTBREAK AT TSIIONKWANONHSO:TE LTC FACILITY

In our ongoing effort to keep the community updated with the latest on the COVID-19 outbreak at the Tsiionkwanonhso:te Long Term Care Facility, we are informing the community that two (2) residents have tested positive for COVID-19.  Fifteen (15) residents have recovered from their COVID-19 diagnosis, with two (2) residents still being reported as active. 

The current statistics for cases at the facility are as follows:

  • Total cases of Tsiionkwanonhso:te residents: 23 resident cases
  • Total resolved residents: 15 recovered
  • Total COVID-related passings: 6
  • Total active residents: 2 active (as of January 29, 2021)

MCA extends its best wishes for a speedy recovery to all those infected, as well as appreciation to those isolating and quarantining to prevent the further spread of COVID-19. We also extend our sincerest appreciation to our frontline workers and long-term care staff who have remained diligent and dedicated during this most trying time.

We express our sincerest condolences to those who have lost a loved one.
