Requests & Notices

The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne's Department of Infrastructure, Housing, and Environment (DIHE) is requesting quotations for the installation of a new asphalt basketball court at the Snye Recreation Center, located at 1306 River Road, Tsi Snaíhne, Akwesasne, QC.

The project includes site preparation, installation of the asphalt court and drainage, court line painting, basketball post and backboard installation, and restoration of disturbed areas.

Contractors are invited to review the full RFQ package, including the scope of work, drawings, requirements, and submission documents, before submitting a quote.

Closing Date: Monday, September 14, 2026 at 4:00 p.m.

The MCA Department of Health is inviting qualified professionals and organizations to submit proposals for specialized training on male sexual trauma and men’s healing. 

The training will support local service providers in building a stronger understanding of the experiences and needs of men who have experienced sexual trauma, while developing practical skills for providing safe, respectful and trauma-informed support. This initiative is intended to strengthen local capacity and help ensure Akwesasne community members can access knowledgeable and culturally relevant support within the community.

The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne is seeking one or more vendors to provide seasonal outerwear and accessories to members of the Mohawks of Akwesasne. Vendors should be able to offer a range of options, including:

  • Children’s and youth sizes
  • Men’s sizes
  • Women’s sizes
  • Plus-size options

This RFP does not guarantee a minimum order volume. Purchases will be made individually by Members of the Mohawks of Akwesasne on an as-needed basis.

The Cornwall Harbour Development Corporation (CHDC) and the Akwesasne Harbour Development Corporation (AHDC), as Co-Owners of the Port Lands at 540 and 580 Harbour Road, Cornwall, Ontario, invite proposals from qualified multi-disciplinary teams to deliver a master plan, Land Use Plan, and design guidelines for the approximately 16-acre waterfront site on Potash Point.

The engagement covers planning, Indigenous co-design with Akwesasne, community engagement, marine and access analysis, and feasibility work, organized around a self-sustaining economic engine. A mandatory site visit applies, with a virtual site-familiarization option for out-of-region proponents.
