Requests & Notices

The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne, Department of Infrastructure, Housing and Environment (DIHE), is now accepting tenders for Snow and Ice Removal Services for this winter season. The requirements for submitting a tender are outlined in the attached document. Please review the documents carefully before preparing your submission.

A non-mandatory job showing will be held on Monday, September 28, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the CIA #3 Building Boardroom on Kawehno:ke (Cornwall Island).

Closing Date: Monday, October 5, 2026 at 11:00 a.m.

The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne’s Department of Infrastructure, Housing & Environment (DIHE) is inviting qualified contractors to submit bids for site upgrades at the Akwesasne Mohawk Police Service station in Kana:takon (St. Regis), located at 73 Sweetgrass Lane, Akwesasne, QC, H0M 1A0.

The project will include upgrades to the existing site, including improvements to fencing, concrete, asphalt, curbs, walkways, landscaping, paving and line painting.

Electrical upgrades will also be completed to support a new pivot gate and related access and traffic-control equipment, including connections to existing power and communications systems within the police station.
