The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne’s Department of Health (Clinical Care Services – Sector 4) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors or property owners for office space on Cornwall Island to support the growing Home and Community Care (HCC) Program. The space must include private offices as well as an instructional area suitable for nurse and PSW training.

The HCC Program provides essential in-home services to Akwesasronon — nursing care, personal support, and health education. With program expansion and increased staffing, additional office space is needed to ensure continued service delivery and professional development.

Thompson Island Cultural Camp (TICC), is seeking quotes from local craftspeople to create hand drums and drumsticks that visiting youth will use at overnight camps for their social evenings. 

Items Requested:

• Two (2) hand drums (16” diameter) with drumsticks.
  • The hand drums should be similar to the reference photo provided in the graphic.
• Six (6) powwow drumsticks (16” - 24” in length).

The MCA Department of Health is seeking proposals from qualified and licensed Chiropodists or Podiatrists to provide preventative and therapeutic foot care, education, and assessments to community members at MCA health facilities. The successful proponent will support holistic, culturally safe, and community-based healthcare.
