Apply Now – Community Settlement Trust Overseers
The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne is seeking applications from community members interested in serving as Akwesasne Community Settlement Trust Overseers.
The Mohawks of Akwesasne Community Settlement Trust was established to provide benefits to community members through the Kawehnò:ke-Easterbrook and OPG Settlement Agreements. Trust Overseers play an important advisory role, supporting the Community Trustees and helping guide the Trust’s work.

MCA Focus Meetings – Ohiarí:ha/June 2026
The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne invites community members to attend two Focus Meetings taking place this June.
The first will be held on Ohiarí:ha/June 23, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the Kawehno:ke Recreation Center, where the 2026–2027 MCA Budget and the 2024–2025 MCA Audit will be presented. The second will take place on Ohiarí:ha/June 30, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the Tsi Snaihne Recreation Center, where updates will be provided by the Akwesasne Rights & Research Office (ARRO) on the Nutfield Tract Survey Claim and the Seaway Claim.
