COMMUNITY HOLIDAY DINNERS — NIA:WEN FROM COUNCIL

On behalf of the Grand Chief and the Chiefs of the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne, we extend our sincere gratitude to all those who contributed their time, effort, and support to make this year's Holiday Community Dinners a success across our districts.

These gatherings are an important opportunity for our community to come together in the spirit of togetherness, generosity, and care for one another. The success of these events reflects the dedication and collaboration of many individuals and groups working behind the scenes and on the ground.

Council would like to acknowledge and thank:

• Mohawk Government staff, for their leadership in booking, coordinating, and working all three community meals
• Communications staff, for their ongoing support and coordination
• Santa Jack, for providing memorable holiday photos for families
• KB Entertainment, for the photo booth that added joy and fun to the celebrations
• Racine Johnson, for the festive balloon decorations
• The many volunteers, whose time and commitment made these events possible
• MCA Mental Health and Wellness Sector, for the donation of the Ann Mitchell baskets
• MCA Department of Community and Social Services, for their ongoing financial support
• The Recreation Centres, for hosting and supporting the dinners
• Our caterers, whose hard work and delicious meals were greatly appreciated:
