HUNTERS SKILL-BUILDING WORKSHOP

The Akwesasne Child & Family Services Traditional Support Team invites community members to take part in a hands-on Hunters Skill-Building Workshop. Participants will learn a range of essential skills including tracking and identifying runways, gun safety, using hunting blinds and tree stands, and effective hunting techniques. The workshop will also feature onsite deer processing and butchering demonstrations, recipe sharing and more.

When: November 29 & 30, 2025
Time: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Location: Bombay, NY

Seating is limited and registered participants are expected to attend both days. Participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
