YOUTH ARTIST CALL OUT FOR NATIONAL CHILD DAY

The Akwesasne Child & Family Services Traditional Support Unit is inviting youth artists to submit their artwork to be showcased in an art exhibit at the 2025 National Child Day celebration! All art styles and mediums are welcome, including painting, drawing, beading, sewing, basketry, digital art, pottery, and more.

The first 20 youth (ages 18 and under) who register will have their artwork displayed. To register, please contact Maya Swamp at 613-575-5020 ext. 4502 or maya.swamp@akwesasne.ca. When registering, please provide the youth’s name, age, and contact information.

National Child Day:

📍 St. Regis Mohawk School
🕒 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. | Art exhibit runs until 1:30 p.m.

🎨 Deadline to submit finished artwork: Wednesday, November 12, 2025
