CALL OUT: SMOKE DANCE INSTRUCTORS
The Akwesasne Family Wellness Program (AFWP) is seeking one male instructor and one female instructor to lead youth in a 6-week Smoke Dance program.
Classes will run from April 4 to May 9, 2026, in preparation for the Akwesasne Children’s Pow Wow on May 16, 2026.
Two groups will be offered:
- Tiny Tots (5 years and under)
- Youth (6–13 years old)
This is a meaningful opportunity to support youth, share knowledge, and celebrate culture through dance.
HOW TO APPLY
Interested instructors are asked to submit:
- The number of participants you are able to instruct
- A quote for the 6-week class series
- Your availability (weekend and/or evening preferred)
Please note: AFWP will be responsible for booking the venue for the classes.
