LEARNING FROM THE LAND: SURVIVAL SKILLS CAMP
The Akwesasne Family Wellness Program (AFWP) is inviting community members to take part in a two-day survival skills workshop led by Angello Johnson of Good Mind Design. 🏕️
Participants will learn practical land-based skills that can help in emergency situations and changing environmental conditions. Topics include firemaking and fire safety, shelter-building, basic navigation and land awareness, identifying edible and medicinal plants, and water sourcing and purification.
This workshop offers a chance to build confidence in survival techniques while strengthening your connection to the land through guided, hands-on learning.

Lunch and all survival/bushcraft tools and supplies will be provided.
