KANIEN'KÉHA LUNCH & LEARN
The AMBE Mohawk Language & Culture Program invites you to an all-Kanien'kéha lunch and learn on Tuesday, March 31 at Standing Sky Academy, 275 Maple Road (next to HEAL Lodge) in Tsi Snaihne, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Lunch will be provided.
This event offers a unique opportunity to listen to and speak Kanien'kéha, featuring conversations between first- and second-language speakers. Whether you’re a beginner learner or simply interested in hearing Kanien'kéha spoken, this is a welcoming space to practice, learn, and connect with others on their language journey.
Please note:
- To help reduce waste, bring your own dishware and cutlery.
- Standing Sky Academy requests that you wear indoor footwear or remove your shoes upon entering.
Come enjoy a meal, practice your language skills, and connect with the Kanien'kéha-speaking community. We hope to see you there!
A Google link will be shared closer to the date for those who wish to join virtually.
