COMMUNITY MEMBERS ROCK RED FOR HEART HEALTH MONTH
The MCA Department of Health’s Community Health Services (CHS) rolled out its Wear Red Month for Heart Health campaign for the month of February. Wear Red Month is in recognition of the fight against heart disease.
Community members were asked to post pictures of themselves, or their family members, wearing red and to post messages of positivity and a heart health tip for Heart Health Month. Each participant received a prize!

Our contest winners won prizes which included a one-month membership to Heart to Heart Fitness, a cooler, and a Bogg tote bag. Prizes can be picked up at the Community Health Services office located in the Kanonhkwa’tsheri:io Health Facility between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.
