DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH WELCOMES NEW PAEDIATRICIAN, DR. RAVEN DUMONT-MAURICE

The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne’s Department of Health would like to extend a warm welcome to its new paediatrician, Dr. Raven Dumont-Maurice. Dr. Dumont-Maurice is a member of the Algonquin Nation of Kitigan Zibi Anishnabeg. 

Dr. Dumont-Maurice graduated from McGill University School of Medicine in 2012 and completed her paediatric residency in 2016. She currently resides in Tiohtià:ke/Mooniyang where she practices community paediatrics, virtual medicine, as well as monthly clinics at the Maniwaki Friendship Centre.

Dr. Dumont-Maurice will be on-site twice a month, working in consultation with our health care providers within the Akwesasne Medical Clinic (AMC). To ensure the highest quality of care, our paediatrician will be seeing patients with complex medical needs by referral only from one of our healthcare providers.
