CLINICAL CARE SERVICES ANNOUNCES NEW BOOKING FORMAT FOR SAME-DAY APPOINTMENTS

The MCA Department of Health’s Clinical Care Services Sector (CCS) is notifying the community that the format for booking a same-day appointment has been changed. This new format will be effective April 1, 2026.

When calling to book a weekday same-day appointment, a nurse will triage the call and review client symptoms and book a same-day appointment if appropriate, and symptoms align with the same-day appointment criteria. This updated process will be for both the Akwesasne Medical Clinic and the Kawehno:ke Medical Clinic.

Community members are now asked to call 613-575-2341 ext. 3213 when calling to book a same-day appointment.

Saturday same-day clinics process will remain the same, and all calls for same-day appointments during a Saturday clinic will go to the Kawehno:ke Medical Clinic at 613-932-5808.
