The MCA Department of Health’s Health Promotion & Prevention Team is hosting a Healthy Heart Event on February 18, 2026. The event will take place in the Kanonhkwa’tsheri:io Health Facility Atrium (bottom floor).
Come celebrate heart health with us! This community event is focused on wellness, prevention, and education.
Event Highlights:
- Blood pressure and blood sugar screenings with Sarah Thompson, RN & Diabetes Nurse Educator
- Heart Healthy Taste Testing with Anne-Charlotte, Registered Dietitian & Certified Diabetes Educator
- Heart Health workout with Krista Lee Oakes, Diabetes Prevention Specialist
- Educational resources on safer sex practices, smoking cessation, heart health, and much more
