IAKHIHSOHTHA LODGE NOTIFIES COMMUNITY OF COVID-19 OUTBREAK

The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne’s Department of Health is notifying the community that Iakhihsohtha Lodge has entered into COVID-19 Outbreak Status as of February 10, 2026.

Iakhihsohtha has entered into its COVID-19 outbreak protocols, which include:

• Wearing masks at all times when in the Lodge for both staff and visitors
• Sanitizing and washing hands regularly
• Guests are required to stay in the room of the person they are visiting; there is no going room to room while in the facility
• Children under the age of 12 are discouraged from visiting in the Lodge
• Limiting of 1 visitor per resident

As the health and well-being of our residents and staff remain our utmost priority, Iakhihsohtha Lodge is following outbreak protocols and health guidelines.
