FAMILY SUSTAINABILITY PROJECT

The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne is committed to supporting our community during challenging times. In response to the rising cost of food driven by inflation, global tariff concerns, and the unfavourable currency exchange rate, we are pleased to announce that the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne is providing a financial assistance payment of $2,000 to eligible individuals to help our community households manage these challenges.

This project aims to provide immediate relief to families facing increased grocery expenses and economic uncertainty. We recognize the financial strain many are experiencing, and we are taking this step to help ease the burden.
