MCA FOCUS MEETING FOR FEBRUARY 2026

The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne’s Focus Meeting will take place on Enníska/February 26, 2026, at Kana:takon School, beginning at 6:00 p.m.

This month’s meeting will spotlight the MCA Department of Health (DOH). Community members will receive updates and information on the Department’s recent restructuring, including an introduction to DOH Administrative Staff and the Primary Care Team. Associate Directors will also provide overviews of the programs and services within their respective service sectors, followed by a question-and-answer period.

The Focus Meeting is intended to foster productive dialogue between the Department of Health and the community of Akwesasne. Please note that this forum is not intended for filing service complaints, grievances, or discussing personnel or personal matters. Any concerns of that nature raised during the meeting will be referred to the DOH Service Complaints Policy.
