MCA MESSAGE OF CONDOLENCE AND SUPPORT

The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne extends our deepest condolences to the families, communities, and leadership of Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia, and Kitigan Zibi Anishinābeg, Quebec, following the recent tragic loss of lives in their communities.

We also extend our condolences to anyone in Akwesasne who is grieving the loss of a loved one. Please know that you are not alone, and our community stands with you.

We are deeply saddened by these losses and hold all those impacted in our thoughts during this incredibly difficult time. Across our Nations, we grieve together, support one another, and stand united in times of loss.
