NON-INSURED HEALTH BENEFITS OFFERING LIMITED SERVICES

The Akwesasne Non-Insured Health Benefits (ANIHB) program is notifying the community that they are experiencing technical issues with their processing software and are currently limited in the services they can provide. ANIHB is currently operating as a call centre to provide approval numbers to ensure health care providers receive approvals.

Some programs are not accessible within their software, but they are working with their providers to ensure no interruption of service is experienced for eligible services. ANIHB is also working diligently with providers to ensure services are rendered for the community of Akwesasne. 

Community members may still attend scheduled appointments, and the provider will bill ANIHB accordingly as ANIHB staff have set up a system to manually generate approvals. 

In an emergency situation, medical providers may call the ANIHB office and staff will work with providers to ensure payment is honored.
