OVS POP-UP LOCATION FOR STATUS CARDS

The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne’s Office of Vital Statistics (OVS) will be offering a pop-up location for laminated status card renewals — bringing services directly to the District of Tsi Snaihne for community convenience.

Join us on Wednesday, September 17, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Iohahi:io Akwesasne Education and Training Institute. Appointments are required — please call 613-575-2250 ext. 1013 or email ovsclerk@akwesasne.ca to schedule. Be sure to bring a piece of ID, such as a driver’s license or health card.

The cost to renew is $10, or $5 if you bring in your expired card.

If you’re unable to attend the pop-up session, you’re welcome to book an appointment at the main OVS office located at CIA #3 on Kawehno:ke.

Please note: This pop-up is not for the machine-readable Secure Certificate of Indian Status (SCIS) cards.
