FROM METAL TO MASTERPIECE: INTRO TO JEWELRY MAKING

Thompson Island Cultural Camp invites you to an Introduction to Jewelry Making Workshop! This hands-on, beginner-friendly experience will teach you the fundamentals of jewelry making while working with copper and brass. Learn to saw, file, hammer, form, and solder — and create your own handmade pieces to take home. 

Workshop Details: 

🗓 Session 1: March 26–27, 2026 | 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
🗓 Session 2: March 28–29, 2026 | 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
📍 Location: Montour CPA and Associates | 609 NY-37, Akwesasne, NY  

Entrance is at the back of the building (St. Regis Road side). Parking is available in front or along St. Regis Road. Lunch will be provided both days. 

Participants will be selected by lottery-style draw. Deadline to register is Friday, March 20 — don’t miss your chance to jump-start your jewelry-making skills!
