WALK WITH US FOR BREAST CANCER AWARENESS: OCTOBER 25

The MCA Department of Health invites the community to join the Breast Cancer Awareness Walk in Kana:takon on Saturday, October 25. This walk is a meaningful way to honor survivors, remember those we have lost, and show support for everyone affected by breast cancer. 💗

Participants are encouraged to arrive by 9:30 a.m. at the Kanonhkwa’tsheri:io Health Facility to register, gather materials, and prepare for the walk, which begins at 10:00 a.m. The route will loop through the Village of Kana:takon and return to the Health Facility for light refreshments, healthy snacks, and information tables featuring screening services and general health resources in the Atrium.

Participants are encouraged to get creative and bring banners, signs, posters, t-shirts, or other memorabilia to showcase who you are walking for. Prizes will be awarded for:

This event is open to all Akwesasne community members and anyone affected by breast cancer.
