Sector 3: Mental Health & Wellness Services

Mental Health & Wellness Services

At the heart of Akwesasne’s wellbeing is a deep respect for our traditional ways and a commitment to nurturing the mind, body, and spirit. The Mental Health & Wellness Services team provides compassionate, culturally grounded support for community members on their path to healing.

Through a wholistic approach that blends traditional healing with modern therapies, Sector 3 empowers individuals and families to overcome challenges and strengthen their wellness.

Together, our programs support Akwesasronon through a culturally safe and two-lens model of care — one that honors heritage and promotes individual strength, balance, and healing.
