Calls for Service

The Akwesasne Court is seeking proposals from qualified candidates to provide Independent Prosecutor services. This role is responsible for representing the interests of the Akwesasne community in Court, including reviewing and investigating complaints, providing legal guidance, and supporting fair and culturally grounded outcomes through the court process.

DOWNLOAD THE RFP: INDEPENDENT PROSECUTOR SERVICES

The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne is inviting sealed bids for the River Road Reconstruction Project. The project involves upgrading approximately 1.24 km of River Road (from Bittern Creek Bridge to the end of the easement) and includes road removal and paving, culvert and guiderail replacement, earth excavation, ditch work, and placement of granular materials. 

A non-mandatory job showing will be held on Monday, April 20, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at the Bittern Creek Bridge, River Road, Akwesasne, QC.

Closing Date: Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at 11:00 a.m.

The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne (MCA) is inviting qualified legal firms to submit proposals to provide legal advice and support to Council.  

MCA is seeking firms that can demonstrate strong experience, professionalism, and an understanding of the unique needs and priorities of the organization. Proponents are also encouraged to highlight any innovative approaches or additional services they may offer. Multiple firms may be selected to support different areas of legal practice.
