OFFICIAL ELECTION RESULTS: AMBE BOARD OF TRUSTEES (KANA:TAKON DISTRICT)

The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne’s Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) has released the following OFFICIAL results for the Ahkwesáhsne Mohawk Board of Education (AMBE) Board of Trustees election held Saturday, August 29, 2026, for one (1) three-year term seat in the district of Kana:takon.

As of 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 3, 2026, the deadline to file an appeal with the Akwesasne Mohawk Policed Service has passed, with no appeals received. Therefore, the Chief Electoral Officer hereby declares Kimberly Terrance the official winner of the August 29, 2026 AMBE Board of Trustees Election for the District of Kana:takon.
