CAR MAINTENANCE 101 WORKSHOP

Akwesasne Child & Family Services invites Akwesasró:non youth (ages 14-17) to take part in an interactive and hands-on Car Maintenance 101 workshop in June!

This is a great opportunity to build practical skills, gain confidence, and learn the basics of vehicle care in a supportive environment. Whether you’re a new driver or just getting started, this workshop is designed to help you feel more prepared on the road.

Participants will learn:

• How to change a flat tire
• Tips to help young drivers feel more confident behind the wheel
• How to recognize and avoid common car garage scams
• The basics of regular car maintenance

🕐 Time: 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.
📍 Location: Akwesasne Housing Authority Training Center (378 NY-37 Suite A, Akwesasne, NY)
