KIDS HOME ALONE SAFETY PROGRAM
Do you have a child between the ages of 9-12 who is starting to spend time at home independently?
The Akwesasne Child & Family Services (ACFS) Community Support Unit has partnered with Safety Tree Canada to offer the Home Alone Safety Program. This program is designed to help children build the skills, confidence, and knowledge needed to stay safe when spending time at home on their own. Participants will learn important safety practices, decision-making skills, emergency preparedness, and how to respond to a variety of situations they may encounter.
Location: Ahkwesáhsne Mohawk School (AMS), Kawehno:ke
