LETTERS TO TOTA: SHARING LOVE & APPRECIATION WITH OUR ELDERS

Akwesasne Child & Family Services (ACFS) Traditional Support Unit is inviting community youth to create letters or drawings for our Totas, celebrating the important role they play in our community. 

Our goal is to collect approximately 100 letters and drawings to include in the Elder Care Packages that will be distributed at a later date.  

In your letter/drawing consider including:

• What makes a Tota special to you?
• What message would you like to share with our Totas to lift their spirits during the winter months? 

Letter/Drawing Drop Off: 

📍 Akwesasne Child & Family Services Office (Kanonhkwa’tsheri:io Health Facility)
🕒 Monday – Friday | 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.   

Deadline for Submission: Monday, November 16, 2026
