BUILDING KNOWLEDGE: SWEAT LODGE TEACHINGS & CEREMONY

Akwesasne Child & Family Services (ACFS) invites community members ages 13 and up to join us for a day of hands-on learning.   

Participants will have the opportunity to learn about and take part in sweat lodge building and teachings, followed by four rounds of ceremony. Come ready to learn, build and bring the heat! 

Date: Wednesday, August 19
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Location: ACFS Whoville House (90 Whoville Road, Tsi Snaihne) 

Breakfast, snacks and lunch will be provided throughout the day.
