MMIWG DAY OF REMEMBRANCE — MAY 5

The Akwesasne Family Wellness Program invites Akwesasró:non to come together in solidarity to raise awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG).

Join us for a meaningful gathering featuring guest speakers and information tables that will share both historical knowledge and present-day realities on MMIWG in Akwesasne and across Turtle Island.

The event will also include a community walk along the St. Regis Recreation walking trail, held in remembrance of the lives impacted.

Food will be provided, and no registration is required. All are welcome!
