AMBE CULTURAL CELEBRATION WELCOMES OUR YOUNGEST LEARNERS

On May 21, 2026, the Ahkwesáhsne Mohawk Board of Education proudly kicked off the first round of its annual Cultural Celebration at the A’nowara’ko:wa Arena. The space was filled with excitement, laughter, and the sounds of celebration as Early Years and Grades 1–3 students shared songs, dances, and traditional regalia that honored and celebrated our Onkwehonwe culture. 

Nia:wen to the singers, drummers, organizers, parents, and all those who helped make the day so special. We also extend our appreciation to the Akwesasne Mohawk Ambulance and the Akwesasne Mohawk Police Service for their presence and support throughout the celebration.
