AMPS EXTENDS CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILY AND FRIENDS OF LIZ SUNDAY

The Akwesasne Mohawk Police Service (AMPS) extends its heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and loved ones of Elizabeth "Liz" Sunday.

Liz was one of the original administrative support staff and dispatchers with AMPS, serving the organization for 14 years before her retirement in 1993. Throughout her years of service, she played an important role in supporting the police service during a significant period in Akwesasne's history. Her dedication, professionalism, and commitment to the community left a lasting impact on those who had the privilege of working alongside her.

Many will remember Liz for her kindness, warm smile, and wonderful sense of humour. Even after her retirement, she remained a familiar face at community events and always enjoyed reconnecting with police officers and staff. Her caring nature and genuine compassion for others will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

On behalf of the Akwesasne Mohawk Police Service, we extend our deepest sympathies to Liz's family, friends, and everyone mourning her loss. Our thoughts are with you during this difficult time.
