DCSS COMMUNITY REGISTRATION DAYS: CONNECT WITH SERVICES & SUPPORT
The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne’s Department of Community & Social Services (DCSS) is hosting Community Registration Days to make it easier for Akwesasró:non to register for available programs and services.
Community members are invited to stop by one of the locations below to register for:
Meat Box Services
The Meat Box project is part of a food sustainability project designed to support Akwesasró:non with the rising cost of groceries by providing frozen food items to help families stock their freezers for the fall. This project will provide one meat box per household.
Akwesasne Heating Assistance Program
The Akwesasne Heating Assistance Program (AHAP) is designed to provide support to eligible Akwesasró:non with the rising costs of home heating during the colder months. This program helps households with their heating expenses and is intended to provide additional support as we move into the fall and winter season. Please provide documentation confirming your primary heating source that you would like paid.

Please Note: These dates are for registration only. Pick up dates for meat boxes will be announced in the near future.
Community members who are interested in these services are encouraged to stop by one of the registration locations during the available hours to complete their registration and learn more about the programs.
