KNOW BEFORE YOU THROW: RECYCLING REMINDERS

The MCA Environment Program's Waste Management team is reminding community members that more items can be recycled than you may think!  

Did you know that clean styrofoam, free of any food residue, can be placed in your recycling? Items such as chip bags, snack wrappers, and other accepted materials can also be recycled. To ensure these items can be properly processed, all recyclable materials must be clean and free of food residue.  

Please note that plastic cutlery is not accepted in recycling and should be disposed of with your regular household garbage.
