CLINICAL CARE SERVICES ANNOUNCES THE DEPARTURE OF REBECCA BOYER, NP

The MCA Department of Health's Clinical Care Services (CCS) would like to inform the community of Rebecca Boyer, NP’s departure from the Primary Care team.

During her time with CCS, Rebecca provided impeccable healthcare to the Akwesasne community with kindness, care, and compassion. We truly appreciate her time with CCS and our Primary Care team. The Clinical Care Services team wishes Rebecca all the best in her future endeavours.

Rebecca will no longer be providing clinics after August 20th, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We understand that changes in healthcare services can be concerning, however, we want to reassure our clients that patients of Rebecca Boyer will continue to be seen by our healthcare team. Patients requiring follow-up care, prescription renewals, review of lab results, chronic disease management, or other primary care needs are encouraged to contact the clinic for assistance and scheduling with another primary care provider.

To increase continuity of care, CCS will be increasing access to the scheduled Same-Day Clinics to assist community members during this transition period.

Our priority continues to be ensuring that community members feel supported and have access to the care they need. CCS is currently exploring short- and long-term solutions for patients of Rebecca Boyer and will provide updates as additional information becomes available.

We appreciate the community’s patience and understanding as we work through this transition period.
