DONATIONS DELIVERED TO NAMAYGOOSISAGAGUN FIRST NATION
Nia:wen to everyone who contributed to the Wildfire Relief Donation Drive in support of First Nations communities affected by the northern Ontario wildfires. Thanks to the generosity of our community, the donations were successfully delivered last Wednesday to Namaygoosisagagun First Nation, north of Thunder Bay.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who donated essential supplies, clothing, food, personal care items, and other much-needed goods. Your generosity came together to provide meaningful support to a community during a difficult time.
A special nia:wen goes to:
The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe’s Office of Emergency Management and Safety, for generously providing their trailer to transport the donations and making the trip possible.
Our community, for coming together and donating such a tremendous amount of supplies. Your generosity and willingness to help demonstrated the strength of our community and our commitment to supporting others.
Thank you to everyone who gave, helped organize, transported, sorted, packed, or supported this initiative in any way. Your kindness and generosity reached beyond our own community and provided support to our relatives in need.
Nia:wen for showing once again what is possible when we come together to help one another.
