EXECUTIVE SERVICES WELCOMES GOVERNMENT SUPPORT MANAGER

The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne (MCA) welcomes Taylor Armstrong as the new Government Support Manager. 

In this role, Taylor will support the operations of Mohawk Government by assisting with coordination between Council and administration and will help oversee governance processes. 

Taylor was born and raised in Akwesasne and first began working with MCA as a summer student at the A’nowara’ko:wa Arena as an Administrative Assistant. She later worked within Human Resources from 2017–2018 before joining the Mohawk Government team in 2018 as Executive Assistant to Council. 

Since January 2025, Taylor has been serving in the Acting Mohawk Government Support Manager role. 

Taylor holds a two-year Business diploma and is currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Public Administration and Governance program at Toronto Metropolitan University, where she is expected to graduate in Spring 2027. 

MCA congratulates Taylor on her new role and wishes her continued success as she supports the Mohawk Government team and the community of Akwesasne.
