INCREASED WAIT TIMES AT THE MASSENA U.S. PORT OF ENTRY

The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne (MCA) is advising the community that we are aware of increased wait times and enhanced security measures currently in place at the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Port of Entry in Massena, NY. 

These measures are part of broader security protocols and may result in longer processing times for travelers. 

MCA is working to help minimize impacts to Akwesasronon and will continue to monitor the situation. 

Community members are encouraged to plan ahead when travelling and allow for additional time at the border.
