KANONHKWA’TSHERI:IO PARKING LOT UPDATE — AMBULANCE EXIT NOW OPEN

The MCA Department of Health is advising the community that, effective Friday, June 5, 2026, the Akwesasne Mohawk Ambulance (AMA) parking area will now be open for exit-only flow-through traffic at the Kanonhkwa’tsheri:io Health Facility. 

To support the safety of staff, patients, and community members, we ask that all traffic through this area be used for exiting only. 

Please note that AMA emergency vehicles are periodically relocated between the Kanonhkwa’tsheri:io Health Facility (KHF) and the Hogansburg substation, allowing the flow-through exit to remain accessible when needed.  

Additionally, parking along Sweetgrass Lane is limited to short-term (15-minute) parking. Elders may continue to use this access point for easier entry into KHF.
