MOHAWK COUNCIL OF AKWESASNE EXTENDS CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILY OF JOHN TALLON “TATE” LAZORE

Tate dedicated nearly 32 years of service to the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne as a Senior Class III Water/Wastewater Operator with the Water/Wastewater Program under the Department of Infrastructure, Housing, and Environment.

Throughout his career, he demonstrated a strong commitment to lifelong learning and professional excellence, continually advancing his knowledge and skills within the water and wastewater industry. His dedication to providing safe, reliable, and high-quality water services reflected his deep commitment to serving the community with integrity and pride.

Tate was the first operator of the Water/Wastewater Program to pursue provincial water and wastewater licenses. He obtained his first water license in September 1994 and, over the years, helped mentor and support fellow operators in obtaining their own licenses.

Tate will be remembered as a valued colleague whose dedication, knowledge, and camaraderie left a lasting impact on those who had the privilege of working alongside him.
